Summary of the Regulation

The title "B.C.I. Champion of the Year" is reserved for Boxers participating in the "Championship" class only. In order to be admitted to the Championship class, Boxers must possess the Selection Certificate of the Boxer Club of Italy, or of Boxer Clubs from countries that have concluded mutual recognition agreements with the B.C.I. such as Bk-Muenchen, AFB -France.
The judge will award the qualifications of Excellent (Ecc.), Very Good (M.B.), and Good (B.), without classifying the dogs.
At the discretion of the Expert Judge, the titles of "B.C.I. Champion of the Year" may be awarded for the following Boxers: Fawn Male, Brindle Male, Fawn Female and Brindle Female.
The Expert Judge shall assign the title of "B.C.I. Champion of the Year" to all those dogs judged meritorious, regardless of the number of participants judged. Points valid for the BCI social championship will be awarded in this class.
The title of "Young Champion of the Year" will be assigned immediately if the subject has already carried out the health checks required by the B.C.I., according to its protocols in force (HD not over C, radiography for spondylosis disease, exemption from heart disease ascertained by Doppler methodology. In the absence of such checks, the qualification will be suspended until they are carried out. In the event of failure to carry out the checks by the end of the 18th month of age, as well as the non-positive outcome of these checks, the title shall be awarded to the subject who participated in the play-off for the award of the title itself, and who shall carry out the protocol in force for the awarding of the title.
